Oktoberfest Dessert Contest
Bring a traditional or German-inspired dessert — perhaps Black Forest cake, apple strudel, German chocolate cake or a favorite creation of your own. Guests will sample the entries and vote, with prizes for the favorites.

Year-Round Events

Our members have helped shape a diverse schedule of themed gatherings and competitions that keep the fun going in every season:

  • Snowball Croquet: Kick off the new year with our winter tradition. Members brave the crisp air for frosty croquet-themed games, followed by hot beverages and warm conversation.
  • Glow in the Dark Croquet: Experience croquet after sunset as we light up the lawns with neon and LED balls for an electrifying evening. This crowd favorite combines friendly competition with striking visuals.
  • Mars vs Venus Tournament: This playful team competition invites members to compete for galactic bragging rights and plenty of friendly banter.
  • St. Patrick's Day Competition: Don your green and join us for a festive croquet showdown. With themed decorations, Irish treats, and plenty of spirit, this event highlights our spring season.
  • Summer Pool and Beach Outings: The club plans relaxing events at both the pool and beach during summer months. Enjoy croquet games, swimming, and barbecues at the pool, or casual matches on the sand with picnic-style snacks and sunset views at the beach.
  • Oktoberfest: Raise a glass to good company during our annual Oktoberfest celebration. Enjoy traditional German fare alongside croquet-themed games in a lively, festive atmosphere.

Events for all skill levels throughout the year.

Tournament Play

Organized by the Tournament Committee:

  • Round robin play – Multiple matches for everyone
  • Team competitions – Partner up with fellow members
  • Bracketed tournaments – Traditional single-elimination format
  • Club Championship – Signature end-of-year event

Participants grouped by handicap or assessment to ensure balance. Singles and doubles formats offered.
